遊星人ミステリアンのロボット。地球侵略基地建設のため地下を掘削する用途でドリルがつけられたモグラのような形状をしている。作業用途だけではなく目から怪光線を出し街を壊滅させる攻撃性能も併せ持つ。しかし自衛隊による爆破やマーカライトに押しつぶされてしまうなど意外ともろい部分もある。思わず「がんばれ！」と応援したくなる部分もある。
Planetary Mysterian's robot. It is shaped like a mole with a drill attached to it to dig underground for the construction of an earth invasion base. Not only for work use, but also has the attack performance to destroy the city by emitting mysterious rays from the eyes. However, there are unexpectedly fragile parts, such as being crushed by the self-defense force explosions and marker lights. There are parts that make you want to cheer for them without thinking, "Go for it!"

ミステリアンドームから発せられる光線に苦戦した自衛隊。地球規模で組織された地球防衛軍は電子砲とこのマーカライトファープで対抗する。直径200mのパラボラ部分に受けた攻撃を跳ね返し同時に中心部から同じ威力の光線を出し攻撃できるというもの。有効射程距離1.5Km，キャタピラーで自走はするがそのスピードは遅く、建設地の問題がある。これはマーカライトジャイロへ搭載し敵地近くへ投下することで解決した。東宝パラボラ兵器の中でも「サンダ対ガイラ」で登場するメーサーと共に出色の兵器。

This was solved by mounting it on a marker light gyro and dropping it near the enemy area. Among the Toho Parabolic Weapons, it is an excellent weapon along with the Maser that appears in "The War of the Gargantuas".

ミステリアンが密かに富士の裾野に建設したドーム状の基地。当初争いは好まず基地を中心に半径３Kmの土地と女性との婚姻の自由だけ認めろとしていたが、次第に地球侵略の牙を剥き始める。ドーム上部から放たれる怪光線は関東大震災級のエネルギーを持つとされている。地球防衛軍マーカライトやミサイル攻撃を受け、最後はβ号に搭載された電子砲により大爆発を起こす。

After being attacked by the Earth Defense Force's Markerite and missiles, it finally explodes with an electronic cannon mounted on the Beta.

第二次世界大戦終盤、混乱の中で密かに脱出した神宮寺大佐とその部下により日本再興のための兵器として建造された。同じ頃世界征服を企むムー帝国は神宮寺と海底軍艦を探していた。自らの野望の妨げになると知ったからだ。娘真琴やかつての上官から現状聞いた神宮寺は戦争のためではなく平和のために海底軍艦を出撃させる。と血湧き肉躍る展開の作品。旧海軍の伊号型潜水艦をモチーフにしているが先頭部の巨大なドリルからして大胆な想像が加えられている。東宝超兵器のなかで一番好きである。

This is my favorite Toho superweapon.
