塩化ビニール製レコード“フォノシート（Phonosheet）。日本ではソノシートと呼ばれるのが一般的。通常のレコードと異なり、極めて薄く、容易に曲げることができる程度に柔らかいため、薄手の絵本形式での販売や雑誌の付録等に利用されていました。このコレクションはは昭和４０年から５０年代ごろまでの子供向け特撮・アニメTV番組や劇場公開映画を題材にしたものです。

Phonosheet vinyl chloride records are commonly called sonosheets in Japan. Unlike normal records, they are extremely thin and soft enough to be easily bent. This collection is based on children's special effects, anime TV programs and theatrical movies from the 1960s to the 1970s.
